It's a new dawn...

and a sunny brand new day over here!

While we were all sleeping, somewhat, last night- apparently my littlest Kupcake was having fabulous adventures.

Miss Kupcake awoke this morning so excited to tell me how she went to the beach where there was sand, the sea, the ocean and her friends.  Her family was there, everyone made sand castles and she can hear the ocean in her ears.  She loves the beach!  She loves swimming!  It is one of her most favorite things.  "Did you love the beach Mommy?"

"Oh the beach is Mommy's happiest place ever, only thing better might be Disneyland"


Kupcake thinks we should all go back to the beach today.  Herself, her family, her friends and Ava and Abbey and someone who might be named "Tinkle"?!  EVERYONE needs to go, because Kupcake loves swimming and the beach.

B was off yesterday because mail doesn't run on holidays (hallelujah, pass the gravy!) and he did spend some time watching the olympics. I really wish I enjoyed the olympics more than I do, but I do not. Sometimes I can sit there and watch the snowboarders or speed skaters or whatever, but I definitely don't get all excited about it and set aside time in my day for the olympics. In addition to that though, B also put the Christmas boxes back up in the attic (can I get another HALLELUJAH!!!) and finished removing the wallpaper from the master bathroom walls. I somehow did not realize that I couldn't just go in there and paint it now. First it has to be textured, and then primed. Oh, the tediousness of it all. I just want it painted already!! I am *SO* convinced it's going to look less flaming pink once the walls are a more neutral color. Today I took DBall, Cman and Bman to see Big River at the Rogers Little Theater. Has it been 3 years?! 🤔

There’s way too much to catch up on i think?! I homeschooled Kupcake all last year with two amazing friends and their kids. DBall is a Sr at Har-Ber HS this year and is on the debate team and in Camerata choir. He makes amazing grades and it’s super bittersweet for me that he’s graduating next Spring. We just got back from Coleman Family Reunion in Bear Lake, UT. The week prior DBall went to EFY at BYU, while Kupcake and I spent the week with friends who now live in West Jordan. I was able to go to the Provo City Center Temple (w/Susie) and the Jordan River Temple. Bryson is still heat treating and is currently working and living in Ardmore, OK, M-F. Yay. My mom was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in March. She’s having a small reunion next weekend that the kids and I will drive out to. Bryson will drive down after work on Friday night.
