It's a new day....

and thankfully the sun is out. B doesn't feel as good as he could, but decided to go to work anyway (I'm pretty sure the Chiro said not to if he didn't feel "all better", but what can I do?) after his early union meeting at Denny's. D's soccer game (and apparently all soccer games) were canceled today because of all the storms last night. YAY- ours was at 9am, and Kupcake and I were going to have a hard time getting ready for our public at that hour...

So my right shoulder feels like it's out-of-socket? Kind of like when your coach makes you shoot free throws until you can no longer raise your arm. Only I did nothing to it :(. I'm also still considerably sore from yesterday's adjustment, but thankfully not quite as bad as last night. I don't know how long it will take to "fix" my neck/shoulders/back, but I'm ready for it to happen.

Kupcake is napping, though lately she has started fighting it sometimes. D wasn't big on naps or sleeping either- but girl was SLEEPY with yawning and droopy eyes. I had to lie down with her and sing to her. I like when she hums to get me to sing to her. :) SHE'S SO SWEET!! I am going to keep her. B finally painted the lower half of her room last week, and I got all his trash cleaned up, and tools and stuff moved under the window. The notch out window area still needs some purple paint, and I just didn't know what to do with all the loose nails, caulk tubes, caulk gun, tools.... they're all in a bucket in front of that window. I vacuumed and remembered that we need to get the purple/rose rug resized for her room. Wonder how much that will cost. I also need to make her something to hang her hair baubles on. Oooops and she's awake. Ugh. And I still haven't had a shower today!

B was off yesterday because mail doesn't run on holidays (hallelujah, pass the gravy!) and he did spend some time watching the olympics. I really wish I enjoyed the olympics more than I do, but I do not. Sometimes I can sit there and watch the snowboarders or speed skaters or whatever, but I definitely don't get all excited about it and set aside time in my day for the olympics. In addition to that though, B also put the Christmas boxes back up in the attic (can I get another HALLELUJAH!!!) and finished removing the wallpaper from the master bathroom walls. I somehow did not realize that I couldn't just go in there and paint it now. First it has to be textured, and then primed. Oh, the tediousness of it all. I just want it painted already!! Has it been 3 years?! 🤔

There’s way too much to catch up on i think?! I homeschooled Kupcake all last year with two amazing friends and their kids. DBall is a Sr at Har-Ber HS this year and is on the debate team and in Camerata choir. He makes amazing grades and it’s super bittersweet for me that he’s graduating next Spring. We just got back from Coleman Family Reunion in Bear Lake, UT. The week prior DBall went to EFY at BYU, while Kupcake and I spent the week with friends who now live in West Jordan. I was able to go to the Provo City Center Temple (w/Susie) and the Jordan River Temple. Bryson is still heat treating and is currently working and living in Ardmore, OK, M-F. Yay. My mom was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in March. She’s having a small reunion next weekend that the kids and I will drive out to. Bryson will drive down after work on Friday night.
