It's a new day

This morning we woke up warm and cozy at the Hotel Wheeler. Bryson went to work, and stayed all night doing I don't know what (they only had a generator for power, so they couldn't actually run all the mail).

Then he came home and stopped by our house on the way. The power is still off, and he noted a large tree limb on the roof. He was concerned that the branch may have gone through the roof, so he climbed up the icy ladder on to the icy roof to check that out. He determined not to remove the tree limb, in case it had done some damage and the insurance adjusted needed to see it in position. It's still really cold here (15° F), and it iced all day yesterday and snowed part of the night. So anywho, Bryson stepped onto the ladder to come down from the roof and the ladder slipped (as it was sitting on ice). So the ladder went down, Bryson and all. He lived :D. He injured his leg, his wrist, his back, his head.... but he's not positive that anything is broken. He thinks he may've fractured his wrist. Nevertheless, he sees no reason not to go to work tonight.

Other than that we're sitting around playing and disrupting the Wheelers. Bryson's napping so he can work tonigh, C-man and D-Ball have played guitar hero and some other wii thing, I believe. now they're trying to find something more entertaining to do. We've all showered and we're ready for the day.

I understand it's like the next ice age down there, but why on earth would bryson climb to the roof to see if the branch went through?! Couldn't he have just walked through the house to see if there was a branch coming through? honestly, that brother of mine didn't think that one through...although, he came home at night or during the day? Still, it's rediculous that he injured himself for such a silly reason (especially if he was already thinking an insurance adjuster would need to see it...).
